Changes are inevitable in our lives and at times can be beneficial. Initially, you may feel out of control and rhythm. Remember, you are in charge of your thoughts and can imagine positive and great things coming your way. Accept that you may make some mistakes in order to move forward and achieve better outcome. Make a choice to laugh even at difficult times as laughter reduces stress hormones such as cortisol and epinephrine.
As you go through changes, make an attempt to still keep regular schedule as much as possible. Treat your body by eating healthy foods and drinking plenty of water. Exercise is not only known as a great stress relief but also allows for the release of endorphins in your body which makes you feel good. While going through such big changes, give yourself a break and realize that you are allowed to function at a less than full capacity. A very important point to remember, seek support of positive uplifting friends and family.
